HN Group A/S obligingly participates in the international Operation Clean Sweep initiative. We are committed to making an active effort to prevent raw materials from our production from ending up in the sea.
In practice, joining Operation Clean Sweep has meant that we have introduced a much finer waste sorting system with a number of thoroughly separated categories. As far as possible, this prevents waste or excess plastic granulate from ending up in our drains and from there, via the sewer system, in the aquatic environment.
As an additional Clean Sweep measure, we have increased our focus on preventing damage to goods in transit in our goods-in department, as this type of damage will typically lead to a spill of raw plastic materials, which are harmful to the environment.
